Dr. Oz does not want to see any of us squeezing our pimples and blackheads, which can scar our skin.  Instead, make a blackhead busting mixture of epsom salt and water, which will help clear up your blackheads safely and without damaging your skin.

Do you know how blackheads are formed?  Blackheads happen when a hair follicle under your skin can’t get to the surface of your skin.  How can popping a blackhead be life threatening?  Well if you pop a pimple or blackhead near a major blood vessel, then the puss can get into your bloodstream and go straight to your brain.  This is why Dr. Oz calls the area from the top of your nose down to both sides of your mouth the “triangle of death.”  Another alternative to using a mixture of epsom sale and water for blackheads, is to use a pimple extractor tool, like the Tweezerman Skin Care Tool, (which looks like a stick with a loop at the end then you place around the pimple, push down until the pimple pops, and pull it straight across.)
