Ever wonder what to do with that box full of spare buttons? Make them into a necklace of course! There were lots of variations from one strand of buttons to more complex multi-strands of buttons… In order to get the buttons to lay flat, the artist used clear necklace string to weave in and out of the holes. Perhaps even multiple strands of clear thread were used.
